El Paso Initiative Survey Results (brief summary)

El Paso Survey Results - See below.

Returns from the El Paso Border survey were surprising and very encouraging. To date, 89 digital responses and 5 paper responses have been sent in. The charts below give a breakdown of the responses.

The Affiliate New Mission Initiative (AMNI) team - Roxanne Hughs-Wheatland, Santa Orlando, Mary Ryan, Patty Hinton, Bob Short – have been in contact with Maryknollers and others on the ground in El Paso about migration work, housing and many other details. Obtaining suitable housing for a collaborative community is key, but not easy. We continue to search all these areas and, once we’re at a place to move forward, will present it to the Affiliate Board.

Survey Results:

I encourage this initiative – 98.9%

The one “no” was related to timing…i.e., “We should have done this 10 or more years ago.
