ECOLOGOCAL EDUCATION - Laudato Si Working Group
The Maryknoll Affiliates Laudato Si’ Working Group is pleased to present the latest Laudato Si’ Action Plan Worksheet and its accompanying resources. They can be found at the Catholic Climate Covenant’s LSAP website, “We’re all Part of God’s Plan(et).”
The latest worksheet addresses LSAP Goal #5, Ecological Education. It particularly focuses on two topics: 1. Learning more about Creation Care values and practices and 2. Sharing Laudato Si’ themes within personal networks and communities.
The worksheets are designed to help people find approachable steps to take in helping to solve the current ecological crises of the world, described so movingly by Pope Francis in Laudato Si’.
A SUGGESTED METHODOLOGY FOR APPROACHING GOAL #5’s WORKSHEET:
Print out Worksheet #5. Read through page 1 only.
Pray a little and contemplate. Consider how you can contribute to Ecological Education. Consider reviewing the prayers offered on the website, titled, “Some CST and Prayer to Consider for LSAP Goal #5.”
Talk with the other members of your household about the goal.
On the website, review the file called “Visuals for Goal #5.”
Go back to the Worksheet, printed in step 1, and begin to fill out pages 2 and 3.

We’re on track to be able to offer all 7 worksheets by March, 2023, offering the worksheets as a way for households to come together and build a Laudato Si’ Action Plan, as invited by Pope Francis.
