Covid Update within Maryknoll - Celebrating Life

As of Sunday, 4/19/2020, I am not aware of any Maryknoll Lay Missioners or Affiliates who have tested positive for Covid-19.  Sadly, that is not the case for the Maryknoll Sisters, Fathers & Brothers.  Many in the Congregation and Society have been infected with the virus and several have passed on to new life.  So many elderly Sisters became symptomatic (without adequate testing it is difficult to know for sure if it’s coronavirus) that the Sisters’ leadership team had to make the decision to send 27 Sisters to a nursing home in Manhattan for more extensive care. Due to HIPAA regulations, the list of those with Covid-19 has not been given.
