Christmas Blessings of Peace to YOU, our Companions on the Journey!
We are so deeply grateful to BE WITH YOU, beloved Friends and Companions, as together our lives unfold, day by day, moment by moment. You have come into our lives as a blessing, opening us to the energies of a shared destiny, a mutual journey into the Wholeness of our humanity. We join with you, as together we move into this season of Advent and Christmas, guided by the Star of Wisdom and by our hope for rebirth. We trust this journey, for we are ready to inhabit more of our humanity ~ together. We need one another in an essential way.
These past years have brought us many shifts and changes in our world ~ in our personal and communal experience. As we move together with all of Creation in a realm of conscious vulnerability, there is a Light emerging. Our inner self is being drawn into the Essential. It is a personal and communal experience of attentiveness and rootedness. It is within us and between us. It is a source of guidance, a wisdom emerging from heart energy. Yes, the eyes of our hearts do see, and are attuned to what matters. Simple presence to ourselves and others is of the heart ~ as is understanding, the willingness to wait, and the call to serve Love’s Transformative Intent.
Our Contemplative Community, as small as we may be, is a nucleus of concentrated energies, a place of absorbing countless dimensions of life. As we come together each morning, noon and evening for communal prayer, we are drawn into a place of the heart ~ and here we find an energy that is quietly full and silently outpoured. It is a love that cannot be contained. We hear the cries of the helpless, the displaced ones, the pleading hearts of the grieving ones, the little ones who are afraid and without a spark of joy, the ones who carry the burden of untold stories, who lack support and cannot trust ~ all of these and more resonate within us. And together we open ourselves to receive Love’s response, which embraces all. “I will show you hidden things, hidden things you have not known!”
Perhaps at this historical moment, within the context of massive global shifts, we are being invited to honor areas of vulnerability within and around us. Perhaps our deep cry to experience Love and belonging is joined with all of humanity and all of creation through deep travail. Are we ripe to become who we really are?
The Stable appears, a realm of awareness we could never imagine, but it is this we honor, and together we enter. The Presence that meets us HERE takes our breath away. This little Child has been waiting for our arrival. We feel so drawn. This Little Child is Vulnerability Incarnate. We, ourselves are so familiar with vulnerability, but not as a welcoming Presence. But this Vulnerable Little Child evokes within us an experience of belonging we never knew before. We are being welcomed HERE – welcomed beyond imagining. It is a welcome without reservation, an unconditional Welcome. It is as though we have been known before time and space existed. Our hearts expand beyond measure.
Together we experience the Wholeness of Belonging to the Source. And within the Source we belong to Ourselves, to One Another, to All Creation. We are being welcomed so completely that nothing else but WELCOME exists. In this light of Being Welcomed, we ourselves become pure Welcoming. It is all there seems TO BE!
Together we ask: “Are we willing, are we able, to behold and to receive this Light emerging here and now?” And with one Voice we say: “Yes, enter our stable Little Child; enter the stable of our hearts. We belong to You. We belong with You within the Chamber of Living Love. It has always been so. The Light of Love has drawn us, absorbs us and all of Creation into the Oneness!
At this moment in our lives, in our world, we thank you, our companions, for being with us, as together we serve our sisters and brothers ~ all of Creation ~ from our hearts. Our spirits are alive with YOU with the Energy of Belonging to the Source of Universal Love!
