Celebration of the International Day(s) of Affiliates – SAVE THE DATE

A virtual gathering- August 3 & 4, 2024

This will be the first celebration of our founding as Affiliates. Alberto Bailetti, Affiliate from Lima, Peru is the inspiration for this Affiliate-wide gathering. The team putting it together is made up of Affiliates from Guatemala, Peru, El Salvador, Tanzania and the U.S.

From past experience, we know that the team planning this celebration will make it especially interesting, celebratory, a thoughtful look back on where we’ve been, and a look forward to where we might go. A MAC is not planned until sometime in 2025; so, please think of joining with from Affiliates around the world.

Here are just a few reasons to participate that the Celebration Team has put together.

·       To come together to meet and know Affiliates from other continents, nations and states

·       To experience a deep sense of joy in communicating with other cultures

·       To celebrate the more than 30 years of Affiliates living out Maryknoll’s charism – our pillars of spirituality, community, global vision and action – and the wonderful initiatives of so many Affiliates committed to this charism

·       To listen to and share with diverse voices on how we might remain vital in the years ahead.
