America is reeling...

America is reeling, it is safe to say we are in a time of great upheaval. Between fighting Covid-19, Black Lives Matter protests, looting and unrest; America has a lot to deal with. It is easy to forget the rest of the world also has problems and just focus on our own country. This is typically how we as Americans operate, it’s time to break the status quo and try to be informed about what is happening amidst this Global pandemic in the rest of the world.

For the past week and a half, Central America, mainly El Salvador and Guatemala have been hit by terrible rains that have caused flash flooding, landslides and loss of life. This has been caused by the first storm of the hurricane season, Amanda, and more storms are on the way. These issues are bad enough but when they occur within the backdrop of a population fighting Covid-19 with quarantine conditions the situation becomes even more dire.

Please keep the people of El Salvador and Guatemala in your prayers as they deal with trying to provide aid and support for their people.
