A Real Virtual Possibility

Affiliate Virtual Gathering

Would you like to be part of a weekly, or twice monthly, virtual one hour gathering of Affiliates and other Maryknollers to reflect on important themes, perceptions, challenges, visions, etc.in a trusting environment?

About two years ago, Maryknoll priest Gene Toland MM, started the Laudato Si group. Each Monday morning at 11am ET, 10 – 15 Maryknoll priests along with 3-5 Maryknollers from other expressions, including me, gather virtually for discussion and camaraderie. The topics are legion – climate, spirituality, patriarchy, sexism, mission, important articles, new visions, etc., etc. Over time it has become a close, welcoming community wherein all of us, from throughout the U.S. and other countries, feel free to express and search out a given question or area of interest.

Fr. Ralph Davila MM, a member of the Laudato Si group who also often gathers with the Affiliate Houston Chapter, suggested that Affiliates might want to initiate a similar gathering.  This would provide the opportunity for Affiliates inside and outside of geographic chapters (and other Maryknollers) to gather for stimulating discussion and community.
