THE COLLABORATIVE INITIATIVE IN EL PASO HAS BEGUN

The long awaited dream of starting a collaborative community working with migrants in El Paso is now a reality!

Bethany House El Paso - will be the name of our Maryknoll collaborative community house in El Paso. Maryknoll Affiliates and Lay Missioners along with a Maryknoll Sister will move into the newly rented 6 bedroom house in early September.

Volunteers: If you are a Maryknoll Affiliate and are considering volunteering, send in your name to Bob Short at: affiliatebshort@gmail.com. Note that September and October are already filled but plenty of spaces remain in the months ahead. The minimum commitment is for 2 weeks.

If you are presently not an Affiliate but would like to volunteer at Bethany House to work with migrants and live in an intentional community, also contact Bob Short.

Donations: If you cannot at this time volunteer on the ground but would like to contribute in other ways…

·       Financial Donations – these would be very helpful in so many ways. We’ll need funds to help defray the cost of rent, to provide scholarships for volunteers, to buy furniture and supplies for the house, etc. If you would like to make a donation now, please address and send the checks to:
