Healing Traumas with Yoga and Somatic Experiencing next Wednesday will be our first workshop in English. 

Through, breathing, movement, meditation, and awareness on how we heal trauma, Yoga offers us a moment to connect with our bodies, calms our minds, release tensions and move towards a healthier place.

The workshop is FREE but we are asking for a goodwill contribution to AFYA – Women’s AFYA, inactive at this time of quarantine.

Weekly prayer and meditation gatherings with Claire Steward

 Are you struggling to find a calm, centered place through the anxiety and chaos of this pandemic reality?  Starting next week, Maryknoll lay missioner Claire Stewart will be holding weekly prayer and meditation gatherings on Thursdays at 8pm EDT.  Claire has been offering these in Portuguese as a part of her adapted ministry in this time of COVID-19 and will be expanding to include one gathering per week in English. Email cstewart@mklm.org to register by 12pm EDT the day of the event and receive the link to join. Please feel free to register for all or just some of meditations. Melissa and Evey Altman will be interviewed on Meet a Missioner Monday, a new series of Facebook and YouTube Live conversations with Maryknoll lay missioners around the globe.

 Evey (10 y/o and her family have lived both in a semi-rural part of El Salvador, La India, and now are in small town, right outside of San Salvador. She is proud to be the youngest (unofficial) member of the ACOMUJERZA cooperative where her mother serves in ministry.
