This virtual workshop - Courageous Conversations in a Time of Pandemic & Polarization - on Thursday June 25th at 7:00 PM EDT is a way for all of us to come together and consider our individual and collective conversations during this time. As we all live through this time of pandemic, one side effect seems to be a deepening of divisions within our country, neighborhoods, political system, churches, and our own families. In the workshop we will look at strategies for effective listening, examine our own ways of listening, and engage in various activities to think critically about how we can better contribute to building unity instead of increasing division. Interactive - There will be opportunities to work in small groups and pairs to try out some of the new communication tools. No need to learn new technology. All formatting will take place at the click of a button.
