For a Taste of Tanzania

The aroma of exotic East African delicacies and the thrum of African drums aren’t forgotten, but the 2021 Taste of Tanzania, in support of Huruma School for children with disabilities in Mwanza, Tanzania, has gone virtual. This year, you need only your ticket from TZHuruma.org to attend.

Huruma’s students don’t have access to remote learning and need our support more than ever.

Bertha Haas, who founded Huruma School as a Maryknoll Lay Missioner, and the Portland Maryknoll Affiliates held the very successful 2020 Taste of Tanzania a mere two weeks before the corona virus lockdown. Please join us on March 13th at 7pm for entertainment, new videos, a tour showing the progress at Huruma, and prizes.
