Christmas at the Knoll - A Joyous Eccent

On December 28, 2021, forty Maryknollers from all expressions gathered virtually for the Christmas at the Knoll celebration sponsored by the Los Angeles (LA) Affiliate Chapter.  It was the first celebration of its kind and we hope more will follow in the coming years. Attendees gathered from Korea, Peru, Guatemala and throughout the U.S.

Celebration at the Knoll was speckled with many moving parts including an extended visit from Mr. & Mrs. Claus (Manny Hotchkiss & Mary Hotchkiss Ryan), upbeat videos, reflective breakout sessions and, a LA Chapter tradition wherein Sr. Arlene Trent enthusiastically dished out a unique charity for each attendee. *

Cordelia Ontiveros from LA facilitated the event and Celine Woznica from Oak Park, IL. was invited in for her advanced technical skills in Zoom...something, Celine said, that made her kids laugh. The technology was seamless.

The session was abundant with creative twists, yet seeing the simply joy on the faces of so many Maryknollers gathered from all expressions was the highlight.  Thank you again LA Chapter.
