Huddled in groups, the students looked at photos of less-fortunate, young children in different countries; the students could see that the smiling faces in all of the photos were a result of missionary work that they had been a part of. Each student was eager to learn of other ways that they could help spread God’s love to children in Africa, South America, and Asia. Next, they helped make Christmas cards to send to the children. They colored pictures and wrote notes telling of Jesus’ love. One student was so eager to help, that he taped his only three quarters inside of his card.

Despite their young age, the students at St. James were completely receptive of the message that RBC’s Maryknoll members had to share. They were excited to make a difference. After all, anyone can be a missionary- an RBC senior or even a St. James second grader- one is never to young- or too old- to spread the message of God’s love.
